College of Mechanical and Electrical engineering

College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering was founded in 1996. There are currently over 80 faculty, including one member of the Chinese Engineering Academy,9 professors and more than 30 associate professors . The school has a nation-wide reputation for research and design in the fields of Plastic/Rubber Processor machinery and chemical process machinery, and an international reputation in some fields. There is one discipline authorized to award

 
Doctoral degrees (Chemical process Machinery), two disciplines authorized to award Masters degrees (chemical process machinery and machinery design and theory). There are currently more than 10 doctoral students, over 100 Master's students, and more than 1200 undergraduate students studying for their bachelor degrees in the school.


The School is divided into three departments or divisions as follows:

Division of Foundation in Mechanics, including Teaching and Research Sections of Mechanical drawing, Teaching and Research Sections of Mechanical Design, Teaching and Research Section of Mechanical Manufacture and Teaching and Research Section of Engineering Mechanics;
Department of Process Equipment and Control;
Department of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, including Teaching and Research Section for Rubber and Plastic Processing Machinery, and Teaching and Research Section for Mechanical-Electronic Engineering
